Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Manage food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations at all times. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and controlling waste. Develop new menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment in line with hygiene standards. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to uphold high standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment. Supervising experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Strong background in food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Experience in menu development, culinary innovation, and restaurant operations. Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is essential; serving experience is advantageous.
