We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper/Kitchen Porter to join our team in providing exceptional service to our guests at the Old Mill Inn. As a vital part of our hospitality team, you will ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. This role requires a commitment to excellence and a passion for creating a welcoming environment for all visitors.
Duties
Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, corridors, and restrooms.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest satisfaction.
Assist with laundry services as needed, ensuring that linens are clean and well-presented.
Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a positive work environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Good communication skills and a friendly disposition towards guests and colleagues.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Live in accommodation is available.
We are looking to fill this position from February as we enter busier season.
