Night Porter - Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, well-presented, and reliable

Night Porter

to support our hotel's overnight operations. You will help ensure the hotel remains quiet, safe, and well-maintained so guests enjoy a restful night's sleep. The role also includes preparing the dining room and breakfast area for morning staff.

Key Duties

Greet and assist guests, including luggage support

Monitor safety and security throughout the night, remaining alert at all times

Maintain a calm, quiet environment to support guest comfort

Keep public areas clean, tidy, and well-organised Respond promptly to guest requests and enquiries (in person or by phone) Provide information about hotel facilities and local amenities Prepare the dining room and set up breakfast items for morning staff as instructed Assist with setting up event or conference spaces when required Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

Customer service or hospitality experience preferred Well-presented, friendly, and professional manner Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently and remain alert throughout the night Flexible availability, including some weekends
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
