Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Support Officer to join our dynamic team, supporting the smooth transition of tenants into and out of properties across the West Midlands. This vital role will involve liaising with internal departments, managing logistics, and ensuring that all properties are ready and compliant for new occupants.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the moving in and moving out process for tenants, ensuring a seamless experience.
Coordinate with the Referrals Team to manage new tenant allocations and property assignments.
Prepare properties for occupancy by ensuring white goods (e.g., fridge, washing machine) and other essentials are present and in working order.
Manage key cutting and ensure correct key distribution for all properties.
Conduct property inspections to verify readiness and compliance prior to occupancy.
Liaise with the Compliance Team to ensure properties meet all required health and safety and housing standards.
Provide ongoing logistical and practical support to tenants and colleagues throughout the tenancy journey.
Maintain accurate records and update internal systems as required.
Requirements:
Essential:
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the West Midlands.
Previous experience in housing, property management, support services, or a similar field.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
Desirable:
Knowledge of housing compliance standards and tenancy processes.
Experience working with vulnerable individuals or within social housing environments.

Pay: 24,420.00-26,000.00 per year
