The Role



We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administrator to help ensure smooth HR operations across the business. As the HR Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting HR processes and providing administrative assistance across the employee lifecycle--from recruitment and onboarding to record-keeping and compliance. Responsibilities



Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including drafting job descriptions, posting job adverts screening candidates, scheduling interviews and preparing offer letters. Liaise with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and support timely recruitment. On-board new staff, with the preparation of contracts, overseeing new starter documentation, Right to Work checks and coordinating induction plans. Facilitate exit interviews and all associated paperwork. Contribute to the recording and management of sickness and annual leave and monitor staff absence across the organisation. Maintain the HR systems and employee files in line with best practice standards and ensure the organisation charts are up to date. Prepare letters and respond to requests such as reference requests. Fulfil HR administration tasks and ensure all HR enquiries are managed effectively and
efficiently.ongoing policy and procedure development.investigatory or disciplinary processes and equip them with the knowledge to makeinformed decisions.

Ensure up to date knowledge of legislation and best practice in order to contribute to Over see any disciplinary action ensuring all guidelines are adhered to and support the disciplinary and investigation process. Advise and liaise with the Directors in any Record and manage performance management and staff support across the organisation, including tailored support plans, training options and disciplinary procedure. Manage the relevant Risk Assessments required within the business. Support the Directors with any ad hoc matters and projects.

Person Specification



Experience in a similar role essential, ideally at least 3 years. CIPD qualified or equivalent or working towards these qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent time management and prioritisation skills Good knowledge of MS Office package Solid understanding of HR processes and employment legislation. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Terms & Conditions



Part time opportunity, 3 days per week. If you have additional skills such as in IT / Payroll or other office-based administration skills, we would consider full time, so please get in touch.

Salary offered will be based on experience and will be pro rata based on an FTE - 28,000 to 32,000.
