Rockliffe Hall is an AA-rated 5 red star resort in the north of England and is set within 375 acres outside the village of Hurworth, near Darlington in County Durham. We aim to provide an outstanding personalised service to each guest who stays, spas, golfs and dines and with us, acknowledging special occasions and making them memorable for all guests. We are currently seeking a HR Advisor to join Team Rockliffe!
The Role
The main responsibilities of the HR Advisor role will be (but not limited to):
Support with planning, organisation and delivery of resort HR training sessions and participate when required
Complete the weekly time and attendance checks prior to locking for payroll, in accordance with HR Checklist and produce management reports.
Organise and deliver efficient new starter onboarding, company induction, and assist managers with organising department inductions.
Quickly and effectively respond to queries from team members or managers regarding contracts, pay or any other HR issues.
Support the HR Manager and team with the implementation and progression of wellbeing initiatives
Assist and support the HR department with the implementation with new systems and processes.
Ensure the completion of resort team annual reviews, log and record action points, particularly relating to training and development plans. Flag any outstanding reviews to the HR Manager
Take ownership of all recruitment platforms and post and update job adverts and assist with screening applications and interviews when required
Responsible for new starter / leaver documentation, keeping up to date Staffing Spreadsheets, Change of Details documentation and letters to employees. Upload all required paperwork to Payroll provider and maintain team member HR files.
Support and advise Departmental Managers on investigation, disciplinary, grievance and flexible working procedures and assist with minute taking at meetings.
This is a HR generalist role and would require candidates to be able to provide advice and guidance to team members on a variety of ER queries and would be the first point of contact in the HR department.
The Requirements
High level of attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks at any one time
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent IT skills and be confident in the use of Microsoft Office
CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent
A minimum of 1 year experience in an HR Advisor role
