About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced and proactive Human Resources Advisor to join our team to operate in a generalist role. You will contribute to the value of good relationships with nearly 200 staff members across the whole business.
As a Human Resources Advisor, you'll provide expert HR support across the organisation, working closely with all stake holders, managers and employees to ensure a fair, consistent and engaging environment.
Responsibilities include:
Operating within the company's HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation and consistency in delivery across the business.
Providing support and advice on employee relation matters to Managers including absence management, performance management, grievance and disciplinaries.
Preparing payroll data for review by the finance team and working with managers to ensure accuracy with pay adjustments and absences.
Working with the management teams to coordinate the recruitment needs, agree on recruitment strategies, and ensure we attract top talent. You'll use innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-calibre candidates, managing the full recruitment cycle.
Helping to manage onboarding, induction and probationary processes.
Maintaining accurate HR records in line with GDPR and company policy.
Supporting HR projects such as engagement initiatives, training programs, and policy reviews.
Monitoring HR data and prepare reports for Directors.
Leading and supporting initiatives across the business that promote health and wellbeing.
An excellent communicator, who builds strong positive working relationships with others, and leads by example.
Hard-working and self-motivated, with a positive, 'can do' attitude.
A minimum of two years' experience within a generalist role with extensive knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
Able to manage your own time, plan your own workload and work to deadlines, prioritising effectively.
Conscientious with a sharp eye for detail and a pride for delivering excellence consistently.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Honest, reliable and accountable in all aspects of work.
Flexible, adaptable and open to embracing change as well as the ability to facilitate change.
Confident in Microsoft office, and HR systems such as People HR.
