HR Advisor

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional who is passionate about both the human and data driven sides of human resources. As HR Advisor, you will manage our employee lifecycle processes, providing expert advice on a wide range of ER matters and leveraging data to inform our people strategy. The role is suited to those who are operational and compliance focussed, as you will be providing first line advisory support on a wide range of (ER) matters and acting as a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to our employees and managers.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME



HR Operations:

Providing HR services across the entire employee lifecycle, supporting HR training, and administering employee benefits and inquiries. Additionally, you will assist with HR data and process audits, maintain HR systems and files to ensure data accuracy and compliance, and work to improve People Operations workflows for enhanced efficiency and employee experience.

Employee Relations (ER):

Acting as primary point of contact for employees and line managers on all ER-related queries, managing the end-to-end process for formal and informal ER cases. Provide pragmatic, commercially-focused advice, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and internal policies, as well as coaching and empowering line managers to effectively manage their teams positively. Additionally, assist in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

People Analytics and Reporting:

Developing and maintaining HR dashboards and reports to track key metrics and KPIs. Presenting data findings to stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for HR leadership. Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports using data visualization tools to highlight trends, patterns, and the impact of HR initiatives.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED




Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.

Proven experience working as an HR Advisor in a similar role Strong, demonstrable experience in managing HR operational processes across the employee lifecycle. Hands-on experience with HRIS management, ensuring high levels of data integrity Solid experience managing a spectrum of employee relations cases from start to finish. In-depth knowledge and practical application of UK employment law and best practices. A strong analytical mindset with experience in collecting, analysing, and interpreting HR data. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, charts). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust at all levels. High level of emotional intelligence, discretion, and a keen eye for detail. Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification
