Job Title: HR Advisor (Maternity Cover)
Location: Somerset
Salary: 30,900 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (9am-5pm)
Contract: Fixed-term (Maternity Cover, starting July)
A prestigious and dynamic private school is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced HR Advisor to join its Human Resources team on a maternity cover basis from July.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line HR advice to staff and support line managers with employee relations matters including absence management and performance concerns
Generate reports and conduct data analysis to support strategic HR planning
Take accurate notes during formal meetings and hearings
Manage staff probation processes and ensure timely reviews
Maintain compliance across HR policies and procedures
Respond to day-to-day HR queries in a timely and supportive manner
Keep employee records accurate and up-to-date using the iTrent HR system
Audit and maintain the Single Central Register of Appointments
Assist in preparing salary letters and related HR documentation
Person Specification:
Proven HR experience with strong knowledge of employment law
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Confident working independently and as part of a team
Experience using HR systems such as iTrent is desirable
Able to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
