for a brand-new Indian restaurant opening soon in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for chefs who want to join from the very beginning and help shape a high-quality, modern casual dining experience.
We are looking for passionate individuals with strong experience in traditional Indian cuisine, excellent kitchen standards, and the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes during busy service.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and cooking authentic Indian curries, gravies and regional dishes
Tandoor expertise including naan, kebabs, grills and breads
Managing daily mise en place and service preparation
Maintaining kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards
Working closely with the Head Chef and wider team
Ensuring consistency in taste, presentation and portioning
Supporting menu development and specials when required
Requirements
Experience as a Curry Chef and/or Tandoor Chef (required)
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, marinades and cooking methods
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
Good communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
