We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our Chaa biskut team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an opportunity to lead culinary operations, supervise staff, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained across all service areas.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
Oversee food production processes to ensure efficiency and consistency
Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and allergen control
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment at all times
Lead menu development initiatives in collaboration with management
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all kitchen activities
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
Supervising experience within a hospitality or restaurant setting
Strong team management and leadership skills
Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and suppliers
Experience in food production, culinary arts, and hospitality environments
Demonstrated ability to serve high-quality dishes consistently
Knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service principles
