Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian Cuisine food production and preparation, with the ability to lead and manage a kitchen team effectively. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment. Create and develop innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety guidelines. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor food presentation and portion control to maintain consistency across dishes.

Requirements

Proven experience in a Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervision. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to create memorable dining experiences for guests. Previous experience in menu planning and development is advantageous.
