Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste to optimise kitchen resources. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, demonstrating culinary expertise. Ensure consistent quality of dishes served, maintaining the restaurant's reputation for excellence.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a kitchen environment. Strong background in food production and preparation techniques. Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead others. Extensive culinary experience, showcasing creativity in cooking and menu design. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills for liaising with both kitchen and front-of-house teams. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-18.00 per hour
