Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, quality, and timely delivery of orders
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
Develop new menu items in line with current culinary trends and customer preferences
Monitor kitchen operations for efficiency and implement improvements as needed
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned regularly
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable
