Working in the Internal Communications Team, the Internal Communications Officer will play a critical role in enabling employees to perform at their best by supporting the delivery of internal communications, campaigns and events.





This is an exciting opportunity to help shape communications at Homes England, a national organisation with a strong social purpose. You'll balance day-to-day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to improve the service the team offers.





Working with stakeholders from across the Agency, you'll have the opportunity to create impactful communication plans and engaging campaigns that support our strategic objectives and priorities and improve the experience of employees.





In this varied role, you'll help deliver work to transform Homes England, from people projects and promoting sustainability to operational updates and corporate announcements. You'll build strong relationships with our wider Communications team, executive assistants and key stakeholders in our corporate teams.





Day to day you will be working on communication plans and programmes that focus on supporting our mission and leadership initiatives. Additionally, you will help manage the communication inbox daily triaging queries from across the Agency.





No two days are alike in this dynamic role, which calls for collaboration and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. You will need professionalism, accuracy, and a healthy dose of enthusiasm to navigate this fast-paced environment.

A bit about you...

You'll be comfortable with managing communications plans and drafting content for internal audiences. Along with a flair for creative writing, you'll be able to turn complex messages into simple and easy to understand communications.





Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn't always easy so understanding the principles of employee engagement in change programmes is important as well as the importance of consistent messaging across our internal channels.





You'll be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level, and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as a communications team.





We're looking for someone who enjoys working in an innovative, fun, and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade. So, you'll understand how to work flexibly on priorities as no day is the same and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
