Salary: 36,897 - 40,000 dependent on experience
Location: Ealing office base with hybrid working.
Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week
DBS check required: Basic

Role Overview
We are looking for an Internal Communications Officer to join our dedicated Communications department. The key purpose of this role is to promote a professional and positive image of the A2Dominion Group through the delivery of a range of internal communications activities, including news and editorial, campaigns and projects.
Key responsibilities:
General

  • Working with the Senior Internal Communications Manager, contribute to the development and delivery of internal communications
  • Deliver routine communications projects and campaigns and support the delivery of large-scale, complex internal communications projects
  • Manage day-to-day requests from client departments
Internal communications
  • Act as an internal journalist, sourcing, planning and writing interesting and engaging copy for a range of internal channels, including intranet news and internal newsletters
  • Manage and support the delivery of internal events, including cascades, briefings and events for colleagues
  • Improve the Group's communications with colleague, measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of activities, undertaking regular reviews, and developing new approaches
  • Work with stakeholders to understand and identify requirements and opportunities providing expert communication advice and support
Technical / Creative
  • Implement the effective use of a range of marketing tools, channels and techniques, including publications, HTML emails, texts/SMS, advertising, campaigns, events, video, social media and merchandise, as appropriate
  • Provide a creative design service by developing attractive visuals, documents and multi-media
  • Provide a copywriting, proofreading, editing and print production service, offering advice and liaising with suppliers
  • Research and maintain accurate content and publish across offline and online platforms
  • Promote and monitor the Group's corporate identity, providing brand assets and advising on their use to ensure consistency
Team / Shared duties
  • Contribute to shared frontline duties, including responding to general communications requests and enquiries
  • Provide cover and support for other Communications Officers, as required
  • Develop and maintain the team's tools, systems and processes, ensuring adherence to communications guidelines, best practice and legal requirements
  • Assist with general administration and support across the team
More about you
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Math's and English (Grades A*- C)
  • Experience of working in a busy communications, PR or marketing environment within a large organisation
  • Excellent copywriting, editing, proofreading skills for different audiences
  • Proactive approach to generating and writing great content, including news, features and interviews
  • Email marketing production and evaluation skills, using email service providers (such as Click Dimensions)
  • Experience of delivering projects and campaigns using a range of tools and tactics, including Campaigns, Creative design using Canva, Email marketing, Publications, Social media, Website/intranet
