Preci-Spark Ltd is looking for an IT Administrative Support to join our existing team at our Loughborough facility.
You will play an important role in keeping our IT systems and processes running smoothly, helping the team stay organised and supported day to day. You'll take care of a wide range of administrative and technical tasks, from setting up new users and managing access to systems, to maintaining accurate records and coordinating equipment and software. You'll make sure new starters have what they need from day one, that leavers are securely offboarded, and that everything in between runs efficiently. You'll also carry out simple exploratory testing on our in-house systems when required. Alongside this, you'll provide basic IT support, helping to resolve everyday issues and assisting with updates or maintenance work. It's a hands-on role where your attention to detail and practical approach will help the wider IT team deliver a reliable, well-managed service across the organisation.

Day shift (37 hour): Monday - Thursday 07:45-16:30, Friday 07:45-11:45

The Role:
Handling user onboarding, offboarding and job change requests, ensuring accounts, profiles and permissions are set up accurately across all systems
Managing administrative tasks on platforms such as PIMS, Tensor and Zoho, including user creation, access control and role management
Supporting mobile device management, from procuring and enrolling phones to configuring email, apps and security settings
Keeping IT inventory up to date, tracking equipment from purchase to disposal and managing orders, deliveries and recycling
Assisting with regular tape rotations, laptop setup for home workers and maintaining accurate records of issued devices
Helping the IT team with general support tasks such as troubleshooting, installing updates and assisting with system or application changes
Supporting our in-house information management system by carrying out basic exploratory checks assigned by the software development team
Requirements:
A genuine interest in IT and administrative work, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Office suite
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing data, user accounts and system settings
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
A methodical and practical approach to problem-solving
Ability to follow procedures carefully and maintain accurate records
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in an IT or administrative support role would be helpful but is not essential
Full UK driving licence (role will some travel between sites).
