Summary

We are seeking a Production Manager to lead our growing workshops operations at Majestic Joinery. This role is crucial in overseeing the production process, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, and managing a skilled team to deliver exceptional bespoke joinery projects.

Responsibilities

Liaise with the Operations Director , Designers and Co-Ordinators on projects. Oversee daily workshop operations and manage production schedules. Lead and mentor a team of craftsmen to ensure high standards of workmanship. Coordinate with clients and designers to understand project requirements and timelines. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Manage inventory of materials and tools necessary for production. Implement quality control measures throughout the fabrication process.

Requirements

Proven experience in a managerial role within a workshop or manufacturing environment. Strong background in joinery or carpentry with hands-on fabrication skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Willing to lead a small team of joiners. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a workshop setting. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

Key Terms

Hours - 40 hours per week Breaks - Two 30 minute breaks with the Joinery team in the day. Holidays - 20 days plus 8 bank holidays a year.
