We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating production activities, ensuring quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Duties
Manage daily production activities to meet organisational targets and deadlines.
Oversee the utilisation of SAP and ERP systems to plan, monitor, and control production workflows.
Implement process improvements and lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Monitor supply chain logistics to ensure timely procurement of materials and delivery of finished products.
Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the production process.
Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing productivity, safety, and product quality.
Coordinate maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting with technical teams to minimise downtime.
Supervise assembly operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and operational procedures.
Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks and develop strategies for optimisation.
Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and accountability within the production environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in manufacturing or production management roles.
Demonstrable expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
Experience in quality control procedures and assembly processes.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.
