Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Kitchen Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in using design software such as Compusoft, Fusion, or Articled to create innovative kitchen layouts. If you have a passion for design and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.

Key Tasks:

odealing with customers in the showroom to understand and develop an understanding of their requirements and expectations.

oDesign a product that meets the requirements of the customer and oversee the process form design to installation

oConduct onsite kitchen surveys where required

oDevelop excellent business relationships with customers

oCreate and submit quotes to customers

oKeep up to date with industry trends

Candidate Specification & Technology:

Required:

oExperience in kitchen design using a CAD package

oPersonable with a passion for service and exceptional design skills

oExcellent presentation and communication skills

oStrong attention to detail

oGreat problem-solving skills

oExperience of using Microsoft Excel

oCreative thinking

oAn ongoing interest in design and a desire to keep up with new interior / designer trends

oAble to work to deadlines

oFull driving licence

Preferred:

oA degree in Product or Interior Design or equivalent

oExperience of ArtiCAD / Compusoft Winner Design programme

oExperience of working in the KBB industry

Skills:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and other design software
- Strong project management skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design elements
- Knowledge of Rhinoceros 3D for 3D modelling and rendering
- Ability to create accurate CAD drawings for construction purposes
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders
- Creative flair and a passion for innovative kitchen design concepts
