ABOUT THE ROLE:
Join Our Creative, Sustainability-Focused Team
We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and experienced Kitchen Designer to become an integral part of our close-knit, creative studio. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a purpose-driven company where sustainability and design excellence go hand-in-hand.
In this client-facing role, you will take ownership of projects from initial consultation and concept development through to final design sign-off. You'll work closely with clients to bring their vision to life, balancing functionality, aesthetics, and environmental responsibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead kitchen design projects from start to finish with confidence and creativity
Drive sales by understanding client needs, presenting design solutions, and closing deals effectively.
Conduct client consultations, developing detailed briefs and presenting compelling design concepts
Translate client needs and architectural drawings into beautiful, functional, and sustainable kitchen solutions
Collaborate with our project management, production, and installation teams to ensure seamless execution
Provide an exceptional client experience with clear, confident communication and strong sales skills
Prepare detailed quotation packages by coordinating with suppliers of worktops, appliances, and ironmongery to ensure accurate pricing and availability.
Provide tailored advice on appliance selection aligned with client briefs, budgets, and energy efficiency standards, ensuring optimal functionality and long-term value.
What you'll bring:
3 years of proven experience in kitchen design, with a strong portfolio
Excellent communication and client interaction skills
A creative mindset paired with a passion for design and architecture
Ability to manage projects from concept through to completion
Advanced proficiency in SketchUp
Excellent design, presentation, conceptual and visualising skills
Degree or qualification in a design-related field
AutoCAD (or similar 2D CAD) skills is desirable
A can-do attitude, with the ability to work well in a team and autonomously in a fast-paced, vibrant office environment
