We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Manager to join our team in a Care Home.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards.
Duties
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Report any maintenance issues or supply shortages to management promptly.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Assist in inventory management by tracking linen usage and reporting discrepancies.
Skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and management
