Buckingham Park Primary are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join the team where learning together and learning for life are integral to our ethos.

We are looking for someone who:-

Has a patient and encouraging approach Has a passion for supporting teaching and learning Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour Is enthusiastic with a caring attitude Is keen to work as part of a team, is very flexible and has experience of working with primary school age children Is prepared to attend to pupils' personal needs including First Aid matters Is discreet and able to maintain confidentiality Is prepared to carry out lunchtime supervision when children play and eat their lunch Is prepared to support children with Special Educational Needs in small groups and /or in 1:1 situations

Candidates should ideally have a qualification for Teaching/Support Assistant and possess GCSE/'O' Level in Mathematics and English, as well as being able to relate well to children. First Aid training would be desirable but not essential as training may be given.

Learning Support Assistant

Salary:

Grade 4 Point 5-6: 25,583 - 25,989 pro rata per annum.

Contract Type:

Fixed Term. The post is a temporary position until July 2026. Term time only

Working Pattern:

8.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Monday to Friday, including midday meals supervision.

Location:

Shoreham-by-Sea

Interviews:

Start Date:

Required to start asap (subject to pre-employment checks)
