We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play an essential role in the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring that all food safety standards are met while maintaining the highest level of quality.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service Participate in meal preparation for special events or catering as required

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods Previous kitchen or culinary experience is highly desirable but not essential Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations Ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Capability to work as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary Experience in serving and presenting dishes attractively
