We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Lunch Chef to join our culinary team and take charge of preparing and serving our a la carte lunch menu. This role is ideal for a chef who enjoys working independently and can consistently produce high-quality, simple, and tasty lunch dishes in a timely manner. You will be responsible for food preparation, presentation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook lunch dishes from the a la carte menu to a consistent standard.
Ensure all meals are prepared and presented in line with hotel standards.
Manage mise en place efficiently to support a smooth lunch service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen at all times.
Monitor food stock and report shortages to the F&B Manager
Follow food hygiene and health & safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and food safety.
Ability to work independently and under pressure during service times.
A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Flexibility to support occasional evening or event catering if required.
