Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices. Assist in the organisation of the kitchen, including maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of workstations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Help create new dishes or improve existing recipes based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients. Maintain equipment and utensils, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.

Requirements

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the culinary field. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
