Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Assist in the organisation of the kitchen, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service hours.
Help with inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
Participate in menu planning and suggest new dishes or improvements based on seasonal ingredients.
Support other kitchen staff as needed, fostering a cooperative work environment.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not essential; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food safety practices is advantageous.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role.
