We are seeking a dedicated Supported Living Manager to oversee daily operations within our supported living services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising staff and ensuring high standards of care. This role involves coordinating personalised support plans, managing staff schedules, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. A background in hospitality, food preparation, or culinary experience is advantageous, as the role may include overseeing meal provision and ensuring food safety standards are met. The Supported Living Manager will play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for residents.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of support staff to deliver exceptional care and support to residents
Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with residents and their families
Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards where applicable
Coordinate meal preparation and service, maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality
Foster a positive environment that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being for residents
Manage administrative tasks such as record keeping, reporting incidents, and liaising with external agencies
Organise training programmes for staff to enhance skills in hospitality, food production, and care delivery
Monitor the quality of service delivery through regular audits and feedback mechanisms
Experience
Proven supervising or team management experience within a hospitality or care setting
Background in food preparation, cooking, or culinary arts is highly desirable
Experience working in restaurants, hotels, or similar environments such as barista or serving roles
Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes
Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management will be considered an asset
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
Familiarity with supported living environments or social care services is preferred but not essential
