Marstons Trained Chef - Company Food - 3 full days per week (must be flexible)
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate knowledge working with a Marstons food menu. Has attention to detail when it comes to specification, food handling, food hygiene and cleaning. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, cooking and serving food with the same expected standards at all times.

Responsibilities

Report to the Kitchen Manager, General Manager or Operators Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining quality and presentation standards. Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked with necessary ingredients. Following a menu set by Marstons & engaging well with Menu Launches and changes when required Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef in a Marstons Kitchen or eager to learn very fast, Excellent knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Passion for cooking with creativity in menu development. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and front-of-house staff.
