Duties
Assist individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
Develop and maintain personalised care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
Provide emotional support and encouragement to enhance the well-being of those in your care.
Engage with children through various activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Drive clients to appointments or community activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with team members regarding client progress and needs.
Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes, ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
Skills
Experience in childcare or working with children is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and colleagues.
Ability to develop and implement care plans that meet individual needs.
Proficient in IT skills for record keeping and reporting tasks.
A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation of clients as needed.
A compassionate nature with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
