Join our team as a Night Warehouse Administrator!
Salvo, a leading Italian food wholesaler, is on the lookout for a Night Warehouse Administrator to join our passionate team. Based in our Cheshunt depot, our company prides itself on delivering top-quality Italian Products to our valued customers. Position: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: 327,550 (Inc. Night time allowance)
Location: Cheshunt
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, to be worked flexibly over Sunday to Friday, starting at 9pm and finishing at 6am, including a one-hour unpaid break each day.
Primary Purpose
The role focuses on delivering administrative support to enhance warehouse customer service, with additional responsibilities including stock handling and ensuring the warehouse remains clean and organized.
Role Responsibilities

• Utilise handheld devices to accurately move and store goods in designated spaces.
• Perform manual handling tasks for goods.
• Release orders for picking and meticulously invoice them with keen attention to detail.
• Investigate and compile an out-of-stock list, cross-checking it with the system and forwarding it to relevant departments.
• Remove damaged goods from the system, generating and uploading reports accordingly.

Thoroughly inspect outbound deliveries for picking errors. * Print delivery notes and organise them with drivers' paperwork for dispatch.

• Handle goods with utmost care to minimise damages and losses, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels and keep paper records up-to-date, including temperature checks.
• Ensure cleanliness in work areas is maintained consistently.
• Adhere strictly to Health & Safety regulations at all times.
• Follow all Salvos policies and procedures concerning Food Safety, Quality, and legality without compromise.
• Assist with the picking and packing of orders when required.
• Perform any other tasks reasonably required by the business.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good written and oral communication in English language
• Knowledge of health and safety
• Experience working with food, desirable
• Forklift license, desirable
