We now have openings available to join our Arcadia Nurseries to form part of our relief staff team to cover at both sites in Edinburgh and Roslin. This post will ensure you the flexibility to choose hours that suit you with a garanteed hours contract and a Salary of 12.60 p/h plus 14.5% annual leave allowance.

To support staff in providing a safe stimulating environment for children age 6 weeks to 5 years old. Assisting with lunchtime routines alongside other daily tasks.

1. To work within the policies and procedures set out by the nursery related to Health and Safety, Child Protection and Inclusivity to ensure that the safety and welfare of all children is promoted at all times.

2. To assist with mealtimes by supporting feeding and promoting independence where relevant.

3. Assist with children's personal routines such as sleep times and play times.

4. Assist with daily routines such as organisation of playroom and dining room.

5. To ensure professionalism and confidentiality

To attend three in-service days annually to ensure relevant training is up to date.

The effective management of time to achieve the requirements of the post.

Follow instructions from senior staff on ensuring Ratios and effective staff deployment is compliant during and after mealtimes
