Role Overview

As Nursery Bank Staff, you will play a vital role in supporting our permanent teams during busy periods, holidays, or absences. You will help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the daily care and education of children in line with the

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Assisting with a variety of indoor and outdoor activities to encourage learning and development Following safeguarding procedures to ensure children's welfare and safety at all times Assisting with mealtimes, naps, and personal care routines Working collaboratively with permanent staff to maintain smooth nursery operations Creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for children and families

Requirements

Previous nursery or childcare experience (preferred but not essential) Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or equivalent (preferred) A genuine passion for working with young children Good understanding of the EYFS framework Strong communication and teamwork skills Flexible, positive, and proactive attitude Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
