Nursery Lunch Cover
Job Description
We are looking for a Nursery Lunch Cover to join our growing team and support with the children's daily routines across the lunch period. This role is working 15 hours per week, 11.30am-2.30pm, Monday - Friday. Our nursery is open all year round and is not a term time only role. You will need to have experience working within childcare. Salary starting from 12.21 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide lunchtime coverage for the nursery
- Assist with meal preparation and serving
- Supervise children during lunchtime activities
- Ensure a safe and clean eating environment
- Engage with children in conversation and promote positive mealtime behaviors
- Assist with cleaning up after meals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with young children preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with children and parents
- Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Reliable and punctual
Please note that this is a part-time position, specifically covering the lunch period in the nursery.
