Job Summary

The Nursery Lunch Cover position is essential in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children during lunchtime. This role involves supervising children, ensuring they are well-fed, and maintaining a positive atmosphere. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and committed to fostering a supportive environment for young learners.

Duties

Supervise children during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and well-being. Assist with serving meals and encouraging healthy eating habits among children. Engage with children in a friendly manner, promoting positive social interactions. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area before, during, and after lunch service. Support children as needed with their meals, including helping with utensils and food choices. Communicate effectively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during lunch hours.

Requirements

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with young children. Patience, enthusiasm, and a nurturing attitude towards child care. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the nursery environment. A commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all children. Shifts

11.15am -2.30pm Monday through to Friday, all year round 51/52 weeks of the year.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 17.5 per week
