We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate Nursery Manager to join our fantastic nursery near

Paddington, London, W2!

This is a maternity cover role, with potential to turn permanent. This role would be suitable for an aspiring manager with at least one year of experience as manager, or a deputy manager with at least 3 years' experience in an early years setting looking for a leading role in a highly educational nursery with great opportunities for training and development.

We are passionate about offering a nurturing and stimulating environment for our young learners. Our nursery works with the EYFS/Montessori blended curriculum in English and French, with the introduction of Mandarin, phonics and maths from the beginning. We benefit from large spaces and excellent resources in a rich continuous provision and well-resourced Montessori environment. Salary:

42,000-47,000pa- depending on age, qualifications, and experience

Days/Hours: (Please see below)

Monday-Friday - 38 hours a week (+1 hour lunch break) Shifts: 8-4:30, 8:30-5, 9-6, 9:30-6 (rota) All Year Round / Permanent

Nursery Manager Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and motivate a team of nursery staff, ensuring high-quality care and education is consistently delivered. Oversee the planning and implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to meet the individual needs of all children. Ensure the nursery meets all Ofsted and regulatory standards, maintaining the nursery's excellent reputation. Liaise with parents, providing regular updates on their children's progress and maintaining strong relationships with families. Handle day-to-day operational matters, including health and safety, staffing, and compliance with all regulations.

About You as our Nursery Manager:

The ideal candidate will:

Level 3 or above in Childcare (or equivalent)

3 years' experience as a deputy manager or 1 year as a manager

Montessori Diploma preferred but not essential GCSE in English and Maths Montessori Knowledge Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and Ofsted standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, parents, and children. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. A passion for early years education and a genuine commitment to providing the best care for children. Ability to manage budgets, financial records, and staffing schedules. Be eligible to work in the UK
