About the Role
CS Carpentry & Construction Ltd is a well-established construction and carpentry business based in Sheerness. We're looking for a
reliable, organised, and proactive Office Manager / Business Administrator
to run the day-to-day office operations and support the wider business.
This is a key role within the company. You'll be responsible for keeping systems updated, supporting site teams and management, handling admin and finance support tasks, and making sure the office runs smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, organisation, and being the backbone of a busy business.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls and emails
Act as the first point of contact for enquiries
Manage and maintain job tracking systems (Trello)
Support labour and attendance tracking (Blip)
Prepare weekly admin and attendance summaries
Raise invoices and chase overdue payments
Support the accountant with bookkeeping information
Maintain records for:
Staff
Suppliers
Overheads
Insurance
Manage vehicle admin (MOTs, servicing, tax, insurance)
General office administration and organisation
Post pre-approved content to company social media (no content creation required)
About You
Highly organised and detail-focused
Confident using computers, email, spreadsheets, and online systems
Comfortable chasing information and following things up
Reliable, trustworthy, and consistent
Able to work independently and manage priorities
Previous office/admin experience preferred
Experience in construction or trades is helpful but
not essential
