Added Scientific is a successful, independent additive manufacturing (AM) and 3D printing company, historically operating as a contract research organisation. We provide consultancy, problem-solving, and lab-based technical services to high-profile clients across a range of industry sectors, with particular expertise in material jetting, binder jetting, and photocurable-based AM.
We are now entering an exciting new phase as we transition into a product-focused company. Our current focus is the development of advanced 3D and 2D inkjet printing platforms, including custom printhead drive electronics and complete printing systems. These tools are designed for research and development teams working on new materials and devices.

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office & Operations Administrator to support the day-to-day running of the company. This part-time role would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in being dependable, and likes working in a technical, fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
Act as a first point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
Keep the office running smoothly, including supplies and basic facilities needs
Organise meetings, appointments, and occasional travel arrangements
Prepare and maintain records, reports, and documentation
Assist with basic bookkeeping and invoice processing
Provide administrative support for HR and recruitment activities as required
Help ensure company processes and procedures are followed
Candidate Profile
You will be a proactive and reliable individual with experience in an administrative role, ideally within a technical or engineering environment. You should be comfortable working alongside engineers and researchers, and confident managing tasks independently.
Essential Skills and Experience
Previous experience in office administration or a similar role
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage priorities and work with minimal supervision
Desirable Skills
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
Experience with ERP software or CRM systems.
Salary and Location
Competitive salary, dependent on experience
Nottingham, UK (on-site role)
Part-time: 20 hours per week, with flexibility around core office hours
Start date: within 3 months (must have the right to work in the UK)
