Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the planning and execution of daily menus, ensuring all meals are prepared in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food is served. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or kitchen setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, meal preparation, and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight guests.
