22 hours per week | 08:30 - 13:30 shifts

About Ocean Living

Located directly on the seafront with stunning views over Mumbles Bay, Ocean Living is a small, luxury residential care home for older adults, including those living with dementia. With only 14 residents, we offer a calm, person-centred environment where every detail--from the view to the food--enhances quality of life.

Your Role

As our Cook, you'll be a valued part of daily life at Ocean Living, preparing home-style meals that are fresh, nutritious, and tailored to individual needs.

You'll be responsible for:

Preparing and serving tasty, balanced meals each day Creating varied menus that cater to dietary needs, including allergies and modified textures Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards at all times Working within a set budget while ensuring quality and variety Listening to residents' preferences and incorporating their feedback into meals

What We're Looking For

A passion for cooking with care and attention to detail Experience in catering, ideally in a care home or small kitchen setting Good understanding of dietary requirements and allergies Food Hygiene Level 2 (required) Food Hygiene Level 3 and HACCP knowledge (preferred)
