Overview

We are seeking two dedicated and passionate Cooks to join our team. You and your colleague will set a rota to suit you both so that the kitchen is open daily from 1200 till 2000. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen interest in creating delicious meals that delight our guests. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, adhering to food safety standards, and contributing to a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and menus. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes. Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully before serving.

Experience

Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new techniques.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.75-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
