We are seeking a Receptionist who can provide a friendly, high-quality service to our clients and their pets. Our small animal practice, located in the Water-ma-Trout Industrial Estate in Helston, has deep roots in the community, dating back over 150 years to Cornwall's first qualified vet!

In this role, you'll deliver a friendly, efficient and welcoming service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that each day brings variety and interesting challenges. Reception duties include answering calls, responding to emails, scheduling appointments, registering new clients, dispensing medications, advising on our Pet Health Plan, processing payments, and warmly greeting clients as they arrive at the clinic.

You'll join a supportive and personable team of five mainly part-time receptionists who excel at what they do. We're looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role is essential, and prior experience in a veterinary setting would be a great advantage.

This is a part-time role of 19hrs per week which will include 2 Saturday mornings on a rota basis.
