We are a growing small business Shiffonz, seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our financial operations. If you're organised, accurate, and have a solid understanding of bookkeeping practices, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage)
Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, and payments)
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Prepare and send invoices
Assist with payroll (if required)
Generate financial reports (monthly or quarterly)
Work with the accountant during tax season and audits
Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
Requirements:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
Proficiency in bookkeeping
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Good communication skills
AAT qualification or similar (preferred but not essential)
