We're looking for a skilled and professional Bookkeeper & Contracts Manager to join our team and support the financial and contractual operations of our services division.
The Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented and organised individual to manage key financial and contractual responsibilities. This role combines bookkeeping expertise with proactive contract management, requiring a balance of technical proficiency and interpersonal finesse. Key responsibilities include:
Handling general accounting tasks for our services division, including invoicing clients and reconciling payments.
Managing and maintaining our accounting software (Xero) to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Overseeing day-to-day housekeeping of processes and systems to support operational efficiency.
Proactively following up on client payments and ensuring timely collections.
Managing and enforcing service contracts, including addressing non-compliance with tact and professionalism.
Building and maintaining positive client relationships while handling sensitive conversations related to contract terms and payment enforcement.
About You
You're an experienced professional with a knack for numbers and a talent for communication. You thrive in roles that require precision, organisation, and the ability to navigate challenging conversations with confidence and professionalism. Our ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar financial role.
Proficiency with accounting software, ideally Xero or similar platforms.
Strong data analysis skills with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple processes and systems effectively.
The ability to build strong relationships while confidently addressing contractual or payment-related issues.
A proactive and professional approach to problem-solving and communication.
