We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for meal preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to the overall success of our kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report shortages to management. Help develop new menu items and contribute creative ideas for seasonal dishes.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A genuine passion for cooking and helping others enjoy delicious meals.
