Hours:
16 hours per week, plus overtime and additional training. Usually two shifts per week, afternoons and evenings, shift times are either 15:00 or 17:00 -23:00 (M-F) and between 12:00 - 22:00 (weekends) - mornings are not required.
Roster:
3-week rolling roster to include weekends and Bank Holidays.

About the Role
As a
Part-time Residential Childcare Support Worker,
you will perform a vital role in our children's lives, working as part of a team, and being a responsible, trusted 'parent figure' for looked-after children.
Your responsibilities include:
Safeguarding children and building strong, positive relationships with children who have experienced traumatic, abusive and difficult backgrounds
Supporting their educational and emotional development, helping them to heal and thrive
Planning and co-ordinating engaging, fun activities, encouraging the children's preferences and leisure interests
Providing a structured, safe, well-maintained, and comfortable home environment
Following regulatory processes which includes good administration, care planning and daily record keeping
About you
