Job Description

Welcoming families with a friendly, positive, and reassuring approach



Preparing and serving drinks, snacks, and light food to a high standard



Maintaining excellent cleanliness and hygiene across the cafe and play areas



Supporting play sessions and helping ensure the space remains safe, calm, and inviting



Handling bookings, payments, and customer queries confidently



Opening and closing the cafe independently, without supervision



Restocking supplies and keeping the space organised and well presented



Taking an active interest in the growth of the business -- sharing ideas, using initiative, and supporting the Moss & Maple vision



We're looking for someone who:



Is dependable, friendly, and confident with both children and adults



Has experience working in a cafe environment and handling food orders



Can work independently and stay calm during busy periods



Is available to work weekdays and weekends, with some weekend availability required (not every weekend)



Our opening hours Mon - Fri are 9am - 2.30pm and weeknds vary depending on party bookings



Works well as part of a small, supportive team



Is open to learning and adapting as the business grows



Takes pride in creating a memorable, positive experience for families
