We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and possess strong management and leadership skills. The Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and fostering their development through engaging activities.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and implementation of educational programmes and activities for children.
Provide supervision and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive learning environment.
Maintain effective communication with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
Support the management team in daily operations, including administrative tasks as needed.
Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery or childcare setting.
Drive children to various activities or appointments when necessary.
Skills
Strong management and leadership abilities to guide staff and support children's development.
Experience working with children, particularly in a nursery or childcare setting.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children as required.
