We're looking for a studio manager for a busy pottery painting studio in Belfast with an immediate start.
Our team is passionate about art, community, and delivering memorable experiences- and we're looking for someone who shares that energy and can confidently lead the space while providing unforgettable experiences.
As Studio Manager, you'll be at the heart of our operations. From helping customers tap into their creativity to making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, no two days will be the same.
You will be in charge of operations of the studio managing staff, customer pieces and assist with all tasks. You will be supported by an external team for guidance.
This role will also involve travelling to our flagship studio in
Dublin
for training multiple times.
Responsibilities
Customer Experience
: Create a welcoming, inclusive, and friendly atmosphere for all guests.
Studio Operations
: Maintain stock levels, studio cleanliness, and smooth day-to-day running.
Team Leadership
: Oversee staff, manage scheduling, and keep morale high.
Bookings & Events
: Manage studio bookings, reply to customer queries, and help plan events.
Pottery Processing
: Support and supervise waxing and glazing processes (training provided).
Collections & Admin
: Notify customers about collections and assist with basic admin duties.
Requirements: What We're Looking For
Outgoing and proactive with strong communication and leadership skills.
2+ years experience in hospitality, customer service, or a similar fast-paced environment. Proven experience in a managerial role within a creative or artistic environment is preferred.
Comfortable managing a small team and maintaining a tidy, efficient workspace.
Interest in art, creativity, or pottery (experience with ceramics is a big bonus, but not required).
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
Ability to cover shifts if staff call in sick.
Social media experience.
Computer skills
