supports the warehouse and procurement teams by assisting with day to day purchasing duties and managing the receipt incoming deliveries. This position plays a key role in maintaining stock accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Duties:
Assist with daily purchase ordering, creating purchase orders in accordance with company policies
Track and follow up on outstanding orders and delivery schedules.
Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues related to pricing, delivery, or quality.
Experience with email management and digital file organization.
Comfortable using virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Assist with preparation of stock take tasks when requested. Ensure accuracy is maintained when reporting figures
Attending staff meetings and relevant training courses
Goods Received Operations:
Record and report discrepancies or damaged items to suppliers.
Ensure proper documentation of received goods.
Coordinate with warehouse teams for storage and stock updates.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation
Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) as needed.
Follow Health & Safety policy and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
